SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING

Government Code section 12950.1 requires that all supervisors receive sexual harassment training every two years.  New supervisors must be trained within six months of their first day of paid service as a supervisor.

To assist you in providing sexual harassment training for your new supervisory employees, Schools Legal Service will provide the required training for its clients. Our first session is scheduled for April 29, at 8:30 a.m., in Room 1B at the office of the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.  Sessions for the remainder of the year will be announced at a later date.

ETHICS IN EDUCATIONAL GOVERNANCE 

Saturday, April 12, from 9 - 11 a.m. is the last date for our ethics workshop designed to give school and community college trustees and administrators an overview of ethic laws.
